Hello!

My name is Colleen Winter, and I am a freelance writer who's here to help you. A bit about myself: I am a graduate of the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. I decided to further grow my skills as a writer and returned to school. Currently I am attending Humber Polytechnic's Professional Writing and Communications program.

I have loved books for longer than I can remember. Growing up, I enjoyed reading, and if I’m being honest, that hasn’t changed. I fell in love with storytelling for how it has the power to change our lives. Storytelling is a fundamental part of the human experience that we engage in every day. Words have power. I mainly read fantasy novels. I find that they are a reflection of our own experiences in the world while showing a hope for a better future. As a writer, I believe it is my job to help share stories with the world, whether that is through writing them myself or helping others bring their stories to a point where they are ready to share them with the world.
